Any damage to your property is a disruption to your life and can be a stressful event. We will help restore your property with as little inconvenience as possible. Accuserve collaborates with your insurance carrier to simplify the claim process, and we will communicate with you on behalf of your insurance carrier during the restoration. We work with a national network of vetted contractors, and we are dedicated to restoring your property with the care you deserve.
We are always here for you and your family for any need that may arise.
During property damage, there are many moving parts to manage as you try to get your life back to normal. Accuserve understands the challenges you’re facing and collaborates with your insurance carrier to get you through the process.
We believe that no property owner should have to navigate the stress, emotion, and confusion that can result from property damage on their own. Our team will connect you with trusted contractors, and we’ll guide you through the claim process every step of the way. Our top industry experts will determine the right restoration plan for your home and ensure top-quality workmanship.
We don’t have direct access to your specific policy information, so we recommend discussing what is (or might not be) covered with your assigned adjuster.
Accuserve will dry your home and provide necessary repairs, but it’s the property owner’s responsibility to address the source of the damage or loss. Save all your receipts and discuss the repairs with your adjuster once the source of the leak has been fixed.
We recommend an inspection first. For some types of damage (water, for example), the longer you wait, the greater the risk of the damage increasing. The inspection is always free, and your Accuserve contractor will take photos and document any findings. This information will be helpful for your adjuster to make a coverage determination.
We always want property owners to feel trust and comfort in the restoration process, so you are always free to use any contractor you like. When you choose to use an Accuserve contractor, you get a fully vetted, proven contractor with a history of great performance within our program, who has helped others in situations like yours. You also get the expertise of our tenured professionals and the concierge-level service of our customer care team at no extra cost to you. In addition, you receive the contractor’s direct warranty along with a second warranty from Accuserve, which gives you an additional layer of protection.
You can discuss this portion of your claim with your adjuster. For exterior claims, you can use Hearth Financial for financing options.
Once you’ve discovered and reported the damage, your insurance company will swiftly forward your information to Accuserve. Our team will begin by learning more about your situation so that we can get you on the right path to restoration. If your claim involves water mitigation, our team will contact you within fifteen minutes of receiving your information from your insurance company. For roofing and windows, we’ll contact you within four hours.
Here’s how the process works:
Accuserve will answer any questions you have and set up or confirm an appointment with an expert contractor to complete your property inspection and documentation.
The contractor will connect with one of our experts to conduct a virtual inspection, and we’ll use the images and information you provide to complete an estimate for the damage.
We work with your insurance carrier to complete an estimate for any covered damage and give you clarity on the scope of the damage, covered repairs, and the next steps.
If you have damage to your property and choose to proceed with the repairs, you'll be asked to sign an authorization to repair form that allows the contractor to begin work.
Our experts support you with any needs or questions until the job is completed. We warranty our work and stand by to assist with any questions or other repair needs.
